Gold Exploration in Canada

EXPLORING IN THE SHADOW OF HEADFRAMES

Conquest's Alexander Project at Red Lake, Ontario lies adjacent to and along strike from 20+ million ounces of gold reserves at the Campbell (ex-Placer Dome) and Red Lake (Goldcorp) gold mines.
Fine grained free gold is present at Conquest's King Bay Project at Sturgeon Lake, Ontario.

Conquest Resources Limited is a Toronto based mining exploration and development company incorporated in 1945. Its shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V: "CQR").

Conquest has been called "The junior with the best address in the Red Lake district" by Lawrence Raulston (January 2003). Situated in the shadow of the Red Lake and Campbell mine headframes (refer photograph above), the Alexander Property is almost completely surrounded by Goldcorp's property holdings.

Conquest's activities are mainly focussed in Canada where it has several advanced gold exploration projects, almost all located within the "Shadow of Headframes". Conquest is currently exploring in Ontario in the Red Lake, Detour Lake, Sturgeon Lake and Michipicoten greenstone belts.

Alexander Project, Red Lake, Ontario Significant gold values have been intersected at surface and in drill core in association with the discovery of disseminated and massive sulphides in the central part of the Property. Geophysical surveys have extended the strike potential of the gold-bearing Sulphide Zone to the west. For full project information.

King Bay Project, Sturgeon Lake, Ontario
Conquest has carried out limited drill programs to test for the source of high grade gold (maximum value 521.1 gm/t gold; average 18.9gm/t gold) found in three boulder trains on the south side of King Bay. In March 2006 and in the recently completed drilling (February 2007), visible gold was observed in 4 locations. Results of the latest drilling confirm that the location of the Western Boulder train has been discovered. Detailed magnetic surveys over the ice at King Bay has defined an area of high susceptibility near the ECI target which is believed to represent a mineralized fault zone within the target porphyry. Conquest believes this new target may be the source of the high grade gold in the Eastern and Central Boulder Trains. Drilling has now commenced (January 2008) to evaluate this target. For full project information.

Aurora Project, Detour Lake, Ontario
Conquest has integrated historic data with data received from former JV partner, Trade Winds Ventures, which reveals a number of promising areas not yet tested by drilling. The Aurora property is situated along strike from and to the south of the Detour mine area which is subject to a very significant exploration/development program by Detour Gold. For full project information.

Smith Lake Project, Missanabie, Ontario
Geological mapping, prospecting and geochemical sampling have outlined possible extensions to known zone of high grade gold (1980s drilling). For full project information.
